This announcement affects all Industry Members testing in the Test Environment on October 20, 2021 and October 21, 2021.
Cboe’s C1 Option Exchange is introducing Global Trading Hours, where trading cycles will span multiple calendar days and trading can occur on non-trading days, such as Sundays and US holidays. FINRA CAT is making changes to our processing to ensure proper assignment of trade date and linkage across trading cycles.
In order to test these changes, the Industry Test (“IT”) Environment will be participating in Cboe’s simulated Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, October 21, 2021 (please see the Cboe announcement for more details on Cboe certification testing). This date will be removed from the trading calendar in FINRA CAT’s IT Environment and CAT processing will be consistent with existing US holiday behavior.
This test will affect ALL Industry Members that are testing in the FINRA CAT IT Environment on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 and Thursday, October 21, 2021. No linkage feedback files will be returned on October 21, 2021. A linkage feedback file that includes activity from processing days October 20, 2021 and October 21, 2021 will be returned by 9 pm ET on October 22, 2021.
