Yes. CAT allows multiple vendors to submit data on behalf of an Industry Member. When reporting an FDID value that represents a single, unique account, relationship or entity identifier, each vendor must report the same FDID value. It is the Industry Member’s responsibility to ensure that the FDID values submitted on its behalf by its vendors are consistent. It is not acceptable for different vendors to use different FDIDs to represent the same unique account, relationship or entity identifier. Similarly, if an Industry Member uses different systems to generate reportable events, the FDID value generated by the different systems must be consistent when representing a single, unique account, relationship or entity identifier.
The Industry Member must also ensure that the same FDID value used for a unique account, relationship or entity identifier for Transaction reporting is submitted to the Reference Database.
